How or when did your focus shift to concentrating on Novem’s Barbell Club programming?
I started at CrossFit then transitioned to Boot Camp to avoid the barbell because of lower back issues I have, but that was a mistake. Those same issues would creep up on me at Boot Camp too. The strengthening and conditioning with attention to form and detail at Barbell have been exactly what I need right now. Looking forward to doing all three programs together but sticking with Barbell only for now.
Tell us one thing about yourself that no one in the gym knows about you.
What is your Athletic background?

What is your favorite of the two competition lifts and why?
It’s taking me too long to decide so I suppose I don’t have a favorite at the moment. Still learning the ins and outs of each lift.
What do you find most rewarding with the competition style of lifting?
After applying a subtle tip from a coach and then it just clicks.
Do you have any goals or aspirations to compete?
Not on my radar yet but won’t rule it out.
How has Novem Barbell Club impacted your training and your life?
I feel more centered and focused mentally and more cognizant of my body movements physically, both at and away from the gym.
