What made you decide to join our Novem BootCamp?
I was looking to get in shape for my wedding. I thought it would just be for a couple of months leading up to the wedding but little did I know I would love it and never leave!
Name a fitness goal that you have.
I am running the Chicago Marathon in October and I would like to hit around 4:30. But my BootCamp goal is to do a few pull ups without any bands.
Tell us one thing about yourself that no one in the gym knows about you.
I have dated my husband since I was a senior in high school; we just celebrated 10 years together.
What is your Athletic background?
I was a swimmer growing up but then stopped half way through high school. In my senior year of college I decided that I needed to get back in shape and I started running. Since then I have ran 8 half marathons and one full marathon.
What is your Favorite and Least Favorite Movement? Why?
Favorite movement would be pull ups because I am able to see how much stronger I am getting. I still use bands but I have gone from one blue band and one red band to now just one blue band. My goal is to do a few pull ups without any bands. Least favorite movement would have to be wall balls, I don’t know what it is but it gets me every time!!
How has BootCamp changed your outlook on everyday life?
That I am strong and I can push myself to do anything I never thought would be possible. All while having fun and working out with great people! Love my 6am crew 🙂
