What made you decide to join our Novem BootCamp?
I joined bootcamp to get in shape for my wedding, got addicted, and couldn’t leave — even when I moved back to NJ.
Name a fitness goal that you have.
I want to be able to do 10 toes to bar in a row then I’ll work on the unassisted pull-up.
Tell us one thing about yourself that no one in the gym knows about you.
Hi, my name is Vicky and I’m addicted to dubble bubble. I chew an obnoxious amount of gum everyday.
What is your Athletic background?
Well, I’m the clumsiest human alive and never played an organized sport in my whole life, which is probably a good thing because I’m embarrassingly competitive! I fell in love with running in college and I’ve run multiple half marathons and one full marathon.
What is your Favorite and Least Favorite Movement? Why?
Favorite move: I’d like to apologize in advance — I know everyone is going to literally hate me for saying this…burpees. Because…cardio. I’m sorry.
Least favorite move: any form of lunges – because my hips are super weak and my balance is horrible.
How has BootCamp changed your outlook on everyday life?
No matter what happens during my day, I can leave that at the door, workout and feel 100% better when I leave. Plus I’ve met a lot of amazing people and those people [coaches and members alike] push me through every workout, push me to be better and inspire me to come back the next day and do it all over again. No matter what’s put it front of you or, in our case, written on the board — try it and your success might surprise you.
