WOD 120811: Front Squats Power Cleans Box Jumps


TGFT everyone!  Today we worked on sets across for Front Squats.  Remember to keep the core tight throughout the entire lift and drive the elbows up BEFORE coming up from the bottom of the squat.  This will help you keep the bar on the rack position throughout the entire lift.  For the WOD we did

TGFT everyone!  Today we worked on sets across for Front Squats.  Remember to keep the core tight throughout the entire lift and drive the elbows up BEFORE coming up from the bottom of the squat.  This will help you keep the bar on the rack position throughout the entire lift.  For the WOD we did Power Cleans and Box Jumps for time.  It was the first time that a lot of our folks had performed any Olympic Lift from the ground up.  Everyone did a great job maintaining form throughout the workout.  Shout out goes to Patrick and Colin for scaling up on the WOD!  Great job by Melissa, Jayson, Adrian, and Andrew on their first RX workout!
